  • Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum Store features unique objects inspired by AMFA’s collection, landscape and building. We have partnered with artists worldwide to bring you original art, products with bold design and a celebration of the diversity and cultural inclusivity.

AMFA's Permanent Collection is international; with a theme of togetherness. The stories in the art inspired many of the object selections in the store. The bold design of the building influenced the decisions for strong graphic shapes and forms that are the art forms of the many glass, ceramic and other materials found in the store. We hope you have enjoyed the visit to the museum and store and hope you find a piece of AMFA that you will treasure.

100% of all profit generated by the AMFA Store is used to support programming and the outreach mission of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.

  • Picture featuring green grass with bright blue sky and a tree lined walking path. In the middle of the picture is the logo for the store Touring James Monroe's Highland; Charlottesville, VA" in white text and to the right is a statue of James Monroe. Below that is a green field with a wooden fence in front, cows in the field and bright blue sky and trees in the background.

    James Monroe's Highland

When you visit Highland, you will find a network of overlapping stories. You will learn about the lives that intertwined and connected at Highland and those that passed through: craftsmen, diplomats, enslaved workers, presidents, overseers, artists, friends, relations, daughters and wives. Through Highland’s architecture and landscape you will hear the story of the lost and found main house, and how Highland and its inhabitants reflected the economic fortunes of the growing United States. You’ll also gain insight into American history through the prism of one of its early leaders. James Monroe’s political career spanned 50 years, from soldier to governor to international diplomat to president, and Highland was one of the fixed points in his private life. We hope that by learning about the people and events at Highland, you’ll come away with an enriched perspective on the wider history on Virginia and the United States. You can take this knowledge to the nearby homes of Monroe’s fellow founders, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, and beyond!
